bought This 1.5 years ago. It failed. Yes it has a lifetime warranty but it is in a very difficult area to get to. I bought a dorman 604-106 we will see how that works. My advice, buy something else.
Fixed my AC issue

I purchased this actuator to fix the AC function in my 2004 Silverado 2500HD. The AC used to intermittently blow hot air out of the drivers side vents and cold air out of the passenger side. The actuator I replaced was right above the center hump closer to the passenger side. The issue is now fixed.
Failed after 3 Weeks

Purchased this actuator based on other reviews. I usually only buy AcDelco parts but decided to try this option. A/c was blowing cold on the passenger side and hot on the driver side. This actuator fixed that problem and I had cold a/c on both sides again after install. Part only last about 3 weeks before it failed and started making a loud clicking noise. Ended up replacing with an AcDelco actuator and still going strong after 6 months . Save your money and buy an OEM part.

I took a chance on this product for the issue we are having with the hot vs cold air coming out for driver and passnger vents in our 04 Yukon XL. installed the part per directions, no problem. Worked okay for a couple weeks, then started to make clicking sounds, which have increased slowly in frequency and duration. Now, I have had to disconnect the power to it as it clicks nonstop, VERRRRRY ANNOYING, and doesn't control the air anymore either.
Save your money, buy anything else!!!

Remedied my recurring issue of the drivers side vents blowing only hot air regardless of temp control command (while the passenger side worked normally) in my 2004 GMC Sierra SLE . Easy installed requiring a 7mm socket to remove the trim under the dash and a 5.5mm socket to remove the 2 screws holding the actuator. Installation was recent so I have no long term feedback at this time
