I got it for my Nissan Leaf which has a portal to another dimension between the driver's seat and the console. Things drop in that space and are never seen again.

I was pleased because whatever kind of plastic the caddy is made of , it's just right. Enough flex to be able to be squeezed into position, but enough spring back to have a firm hold.
These have to be one of the worst things I've ordered on Amazon

These have to be one of the worst things I've ordered on Amazon. Based on the cheap plastic they are made of, they slip right down the seat side to the floor. They were completely useless. When I put in a return request with the seller I was advised No Returns. Thanks to Amazon though I was issued a complete credit for them. Love my Amazon...hated that product.

Works great. Easy to work with.
fold in half lengthwise and tape the ends with good quality clear packaging tape

Plastic is too thick and stiff - doesn't conform well and the shape is a lousy design (ends are wide & hard so the tray bows inward when inserted, creating a new gap between the seat & tray). These should be made of a thinner, more flexible plastic. Save yourself money - go to the dollar store and buy 2 flexible cutting boards, fold in half lengthwise and tape the ends with good quality clear packaging tape. I did this and they are flexible and thin enough to fit into tight spaces but have a natural "spring" to push it tightly against the seat and center console.
better for cars than trucks or suv's

works in my husbands car great, but it is an Elantra with low seats.
I have an Outlander and they tend to slip right to the floor.
if they had a gippy texture to the sides then it prob would work great.
my other issue was that the edges were a little sharp so when I pull on my handbreak and i hit the edge it would cut my cuticles, not a huge deal just keep the one on the driverside only but just something to think about.
I am going to try to buy some of those gippers you use for getting jars open and glue to the sides and see if that helps, if not I'll just give both to my husband.
