I initially bout these because of all the hype I've been seeing about reverse seared steaks. I knew it was going to be larger than most of my baking sheets but better for when I was making a full family dinner. The day I got it I had chicken thighs ready for dinner so I thought I would break it in. It was nice that it raises the food up just enough so it lets the air circulate around the meat and not just simmer in its own liquid.

When I was done I popped it in the dishwasher and it came out great. I do expect it to rust overtime with the dishwasher cleaning, because it just happens.

This backing rack came as expected and perfect for reverse searing steaks.

PRO TIP: Hit it with some cooking spray so whatever your cooking doesn't stick as bad.

This rack is amazing. Enough said! The all stainless construction is 1000% better that the cheaper models that are chromed. The stainless will not flake, the stainless construction is easy clean up and never have to worry about it.

Spend the extra few dollars and buy this all stainless model over the less expensive ones here in Amazon. The chrome dipped models will eventually flake and rust. With stainless the metal is pure, not coated and you can scrub it and dish washer it without any worries.

It's so sad you can't find these locally, but with Amazon, it delivers right to your door hassle free and it's a perfect fit in a half sheet tray!

I ordered this specifically for cooking bacon in the oven. I use a cookie sheet lined with aluminum foil and this rack set on the foil. It holds eight to ten strips of bacon, and clean up is a breeze. This rack fits in the bottom rack of my dishwasher and comes out sparkling clean. I throw away the foil, and put the cookie sheet away when done. So much easier and cleaner than frying bacon on the stovetop, and the bacon is not sitting in grease. Plus, I use this rack as a cooling rack with baking. Couldn't ask for more!

In an attempt to save some money by eating out less, I went on a quest for the best way to bake a frozen pizza (which puts me back $5 vs the $20 for takeout).
I am not a fan of placing the frozen pizza directly on the oven rack. The hassle of having to remove and wash the rack after each use (as well having to clean the cheese that drips off onto the oven floor) made this a non-option.

I tried a ceramic pizza stone and precisely followed the directions of preheating then placing the frozen pizza onto it for baking. The outer edges were nice and crispy but the center was always soggy. Also any cheese that got onto the stone was an ordeal to wash off.
Then I saw this baking rack... I did follow the advice of previous reviews and measured my baking sheet to make sure it fit. I also line the baking sheet with some foil for easy clean up. This was the perfect solution!!! The frozen pizzas turn out evenly cooked and no soggy middle!! In the time it takes to call a restaurant then drive out to pick up the pizza (or have it delivered), I can have one made for 1/4 the price (and serve it piping hot directly from the oven) at home!!!
I also made some baked sweet potato fries on this rack and they turned out great too!!! Only advice is to not overload it or the fries will not evenly cook.
