I work long hour about 10-12 hours a day. I prep my 3-4 meals and take to work daily. It was crazy. I carried my computer bag with my files on wheels, my purse, and my 6 pack lunch bag. I was like the bag lady. On top of that I had to carry another bag for my gym clothes. 3-4 bags I tugged around daily. I had to find a better system. I found this. I originally bought the smaller six pack backpack with the three inserts, the problem my work gave me a 17 inch laptop and it would barely zip in the computer pouch of the bag. So I upgraded to this one. On each bag the side pockets are not insulated but you can fit a shaker on each side the side pocket almost zip up totally but the shakers are snug enough no worries they won't fall out. I like my protein shakes to stay super cold like they do in the original 6 pack carrier. So, I purchased the insulated Blender brand shaker which work amazing and will keep ice for up to 8 hours in my drink. I've been able to completely downsize I put everything into this one backpack (food, computer and files, and gym clothes), it's amazing! It is a larger backpack but my friends at work said its not freakishly huge and think it's cool. It sits on my file cabinet all day. The backpack is well-made and lined. It comes with the removable Cube lunch pack with plastic BPA safe trays and the ice packs. Yes the trays are smaller than you would get in the original six pack carrier but considering one meal for me is, about 4 to 6 oz of protein, 2 to 3 oz of carbs, and veggies. My meals fits perfectly in the plastic containers. So this prep system works out well for me. I do admit that sucker gets heavy because of all my stuff but the back pack is quality, and can take it. I purchased a little luggage carrier wheele thing so I don't have to carry It because It does get really heavy imagine how much all my meals, computer, files must weigh all together? A lot. It works perfect. It is larger then the three insert backpack but they are both great quality. I love them so much I've kept them both. The backpack itself is not heavy it feels really nice on your back. I highly recommend either backpack to any college students, meal preppers, fit conscious people. I love the super fem pink. It's really pretty too.

All I can say is wow. When I first saw this online I thought it would be a decent size but never realized it would have as much storage as it does. 5 good size meal containers that allows me to keep my macro'd food nice and cold on the way from the gym to work. It also has the removable core that allows you to take all of your food out in somewhat of a lunch box shaped case and put it right into the refrigerator to keep cold throughout the workday. I mainly bought this for the convenience of actually being able to ride my street bike into work with my food for the day as well. Now I'm planning on other uses like Snow skiing out West and having it on the mountain with me to for a quick snack, water, or even adding or shedding extra clothing. To top everything off it also came with a 28oz protein shaker bottle, with an actual package of protein powder!!!!!! It's like they sent me gainz before I even used their product. 100% totally worth the money. A must buy!!!!

I'm very satisfied with this backpack. I got it for Christmas and I love the three tray organizer and the zipper pouches for the ice packs, they're a good size so other styles of ice packs can fit as well. The backpack to wear is very comfortable and is good quality. The side pouches fit any shaker cup I put in there plus if you have an energy drink or pre-work out in a can those fit perfect as well, plus the pockets are insulated so they stay cooler longer. The containers that come with it are kind of small in volume but you can just simply buy bigger containers if your meals are higher in ounces. All the pockets are really versatile, my only complaint is that it is a relatively thick backpack but when you get a bag specifically made for carrying meals it would be a normal issue to run into, it's a bag that was made to do something it usually doesn't but despite that being the only thing that's cumbersome, the other feature totally outshine that small set back. Plus the shaker cup that comes with it is great quality as well!

This bag is great! When I decided to purchase this backpack, I was a bit worried that it would be too small. However, it's just perfect for all of my gym equipment. All of my supplements, clothes, and gear fit inside. I was also able to fit a pair of sneakers in compartment above the lunch box. My large blender bottles fit deeply and snugly inside the side pockets. My Chromebook, everything that I need and more fit inside this backpack. The only thing that I would say could be better is the size of the meal containers. But I can make those work. I haven't used the lunch box yet to rate how it works. I will update when I do. Something to consider, the lunch box is removable, but doing so does not make more room inside the backpack. But the space where the lunch box should be will allow some items to fit inside. Also, the quality is great...it is very sturdy. I am very satisfied and happy I decided to buy this bag.

This backpack is awesome. It is very well made and so versital for combining 2-3 bags into one. I use for work and I can keep all my meals and odds & ends in one bag. I went with the expedition 500 for the taller side pockets and extra room in lunch area for my meals. I don't carry five meals but I can easily fit my hot sauce, seasonings, snacks and those sorts of things inside the lunch box area. I highly recommend this bag for anyone looking for a lunch bag with plenty of room for most of your other belongings. It carries nice on back and very comfortable. I was sent wrong size by mistake and once I let seller know they overnighted me the correct size. Customer service was quick to respond and took care of business.
