These lights are not holding up now I have 4 of them out stay away from them

The product itself is good, but the assembly and quality control is not. Like others reviews, I purchased a few of these and at least one had bad fittings/gaskets and not assembled. I didn't think much of it and just coated some silicone around the outside of all the fittings and gaskets and wiring and thought that would be adequate. Water got inside and destroyed the one unit within a few months of installation. I installed them along my driveway up to my mailbox and there was no low areas or poor drainage areas. The others that were not defective are still working fine after several months and they do shine bright. If only there was better quality control and better assembly. I would recommend taking the unit apart and installing a good fresh bead of silicone on the seals, gaskets, and around the cabling because the units may say waterproof and give the good IP67 rating, but they are not.

Within 3-4 months it stopped working - if it is built to be used - in-ground it should be waterproof which it is not and the light stopped working - very unhappy customer !

I bought three of these in April 2016 and installed them in ground to light up a very tall tree. They did the job perfectly and lit the tree up to the top, about 100 feet, really looked nice. However, in September 2016, all three started to fail. Upon inspection, they all had some degree of water inside them. The fact that some of the LEDs still worked while full of water was surprising. I decided to purchase different lights from a commercial source, but most were priced at $400 to $800 each, totally unaffordable. Because they looked so good and I simply cannot find an alternative that I can afford, I'll probably buy three more of these, take them apart and try to completely seal them myself. I'll then be able to install them quickly in the original mounts.
