Looks like real wood

I get so many compliments on this contact paper. I used it as a backsplash to tie in the fact that our rental has dark wood cabinets and light wood floors. I had enough leftover to do our coffee station as well. Now the whole kitchen looks like it belongs together. The different shades of wood were perfect in making this space feel less random. The contact paper is texturized so it feels like wood grain. Everyone always asks how long it took to do our "pallet wall", and are so surprised when i tell them it's a sticker. Especially bc it "feels real" according to my mother-in-law. We are moving soon, and I'll be leaving this contact paper up for the next renters and will be ordering more for our next space. There's a million ways and places i can imagine me using it again. Disclaimer: it is not that sticky, and it's heavy duty which can make it fall down easily. So scrub walls thoroughly before applying it. if i see it start to sag i run my hand over it and restick it. It's been on for almost 5 months here and we have only had one corner hang down once, and it took seconds to fix it.

It didn't want to stick to the wall and in consequence it just peeled off completely, I found it rolled up on the floor in the morning. I just had to throw it away, just like I did with my money when I bought it.

Recovered a train table

I got this product about 30 minutes ago and I have already finished recovering the top of my worn out train table to look like a great looking coffee table. I ordered a quantity of (2) which the description indicated in two places would be one roll of 19.68' of paper. I didn't see that if it shipped directly from Amazon that it would be (2) 9.84' rolls. As a result, in order to make the quantity I ordered work for my project, I had to piece together two smaller pieces to make one larger vertical piece. Luckily there was enough that I was able to match up the pattern, but every time I look at the piecework, I cringe a little. It stuck and re-stuck good when repositioning it, but if it sticks to itself, it's nearly impossible to take apart without wrinkling it. In the end, it looks nice as a backsplash and because of the textured look, the wrinkles look like part of the "wood grain", so in spite of the problems, I'm still giving it a rating of 4. Also, I was worried about the time it would take to get it because of some of the other reviews, but it got here in less than two weeks.
