all previous summers I have run into counter tops and dresser drawers with cup after cup of water left behind by the kids after their ice melted. (just drink it! and refill! arghhh) and of course nobody knows who's cup it is, and when they can't remember which cup was theirs they go get another cup. I bought these and not only do the kids have their own cup in the color of their choice so I know who is leaving things around, but we have gone through less ice as these are insulated and the ice lasts them longer. saving money (whether it be through purchasing or energy used to make ice) for we parents! yay

These were PERFECT!!! This was exactly how they arrived. Each individual color, matching lid, and straw arrived perfectly. The cups were in plastic bags and then placed in a bubble wrap pouch before being boxed. The outer packing box was strong and was not damaged in anyway. I believe that this seller worked out all the prior kinks beacuse my order was perfect! For travel cups for me personally exactly what I needed! I will go to say that I would not recommend for smaller children though as these are not the kind of childproof cup they would need, this is more an adult travel cup. I had ones like this before that once you dropped it once it would break, also for washing I would recommend hand wash and air dry but I have put them through the dishwasher on the top rack and then pulled out before the dry cycle. The heat from the dishwasher heats up the seal between the two cups and if you heat dry it that is how you end up with moisture between the two cups. Hope this information helps because I love these cups!

These cups are really fun and they worked well for a couple months. I washed them on the top shelf of the dishwasher per the instructions. Unfortunately, only 5 cups are barely usable after one year (the bottoms are actually all rounded so they don't sit flat on the table and cracked). The other 7 cups broke over time - usually the insulated wall cracked so the liquid got out. I contacted Simple Home Goods (seller) about this issue, but did not receive a response. Disappointed with this purchase.
Careful with that lid.

Having now bought the case for the wife, i think i can safely say, the one drawback to these cups are the lids. You have to be very careful when threading the lid onto the cup. it is VERY EASY - too easy - to cross thread the lid and then ....SNAP! the lid breaks so easily. Without the lid, it becomes just another cool cup.
One the upside, they are wonderfully sized, and do a nice job on keeping the wife's sweet tea cool in the Hotlanta summer heat.
Obviously since i've now purchased the case as replacements, i would and do keep buying them again.
