I cannot say enough about this rack except, how did I ever live without it?? Such a great use of horizontal AND vertical space and it is as sturdy as can be! Yes the directions are horrendous as others have stated. Even so, it's pretty easy to put together. I would absolutely purchase this item again and I HIGHLY recommend it.
HINT for the wingnuts: The wingnuts that need to be installed on the center shelf support (and in a few other places) can be very difficult and awkward to get and turn. It's actually easier to hold the wingnut stationary and turn the screw instead. Once you get the screw threaded, hold the wingnut again and tighten the screw with a screwdriver. Also, all shelf supports need to be installed with the lip side UP.

Pro - This is an incredibly high quality product that is well made (but not well designed - more on that later). Not only does it look beautiful when assembled, it is one of the best storage racks I have ever seen. I'm sure that we are going to get many years of use out of this product.
Con - The instructions were horrible. The images on the instructions did not match up with the written instructions. (Bad form SafeRacks) Furthermore there were absolutely NO instructions on how to attach the metal hardware brackets to the center supports. Finally, the wingnuts (which many people complain about) were a poor design choice. A threaded nut would have been far superior and would have allowed easier, faster installation.
Overall, it's a great buy. I would have given it 5 stars but for the issues in the "Con" section.

Nice looking, sturdy and easy to assemble... a good buy for the price.

Nice looking, sturdy and easy to assemble... EXCEPT for the Center brace wing nuts! They will drive you crazy. The instructions could also be just a little more clear, especially on the correct position of the railings. Overall, a very good purchase for my needs in the garage. The only other drawback is the size of the openings in the grating... too large. I will need to purchase something to cover these to prevent small objects from falling through the grate.

2 parts came bent but were easily bent back with a mallet. The directions are not clear though and it's almost trial and error which way direction to put the parts. Looks great in my garage.

This is very quality made. Metal is thick enough to hold a load. Assembly is easy, it took me about a hour of relaxed pace with watching kids in a same time. The picture in instruction could have been bigger in size to make reading fine details easier.
