Great for handmade soaps!
Sher A.December 11, 2016
Blow dyer works great. Fold and us small piece tape to hold together. I don't bother with heat seal edge I do too many soaps per day. Looks just fine. Really. Took a minute to get it but mess up 3 and you will get it! Gread product for handmade soaps!
Doesn't seal, but it does shrink
KrykieNovember 21, 2016
I bought these to wrap bath bombs I made, and I have a hot air gun. However, the map shrunk, but I found it difficult to seal the open edge of the bag. the bag is sealed on three sides, and I could never completely seal the forth side... it just sort of wadded up "close enough".

I would not recommend these if you needed something sealed; but you can shrink this to hold things together.
Not good with hair dryer as listed.

I would not recommend for use with a blow dryer. It was extremely hard to get this product to shrink on a bath bomb using a hair dryer as expected. I've already tossed these in the trash. I think maybe with a heat gun these will work but I have a very good salon quality ceramic hair dryer that really pushes heat and air out and it shrunk only a little. It would not form around my bath bomb no matter how long and hard I tried.
The first 5 or so turned out horrible with my hair dryer

I was very excited to get these to wrap homemade bath bombs I want to give as gifts. The first 5 or so turned out horrible with my hair dryer, I honestly thought these were useless. I would go over the same spot over and over and it would shrink up, then seem to expand again. I tried smoothing with my fingers as I did it, which didn't seem to help much. They were a lumpy, bumpy uneven, unsealed mess. I even tried sealing one first with my food saver and then tried getting it to shrink up, that still didn't come out like I wanted.

When my husband got home, I made him get me his heat gun and I tried again. The next batch with the heat gun turned out much better. As I was heating, I also smoothed out corners and they would actually stay down. Maybe my hair dryer just isn't hot enough? Anyway, in the picture below is my best hair dryer one on the left, and the heat gun one on the right. They do not look just like you would buy from a store, but that's ok. I just wanted something that would protect them from breaking so I can wrap them in tissue for gift giving. I would buy these again.
Decent wrap for DIY projects

These were a little difficult for me to use at first. They take some getting used to. I use them to wrap bath bombs and small craft items in so that the pieces stay together or the bath bomb stays together.

I'll give you some secrets. First, if you are using a hairdryer, wave the dryer back and forth. Seems to set better than just straight on the product. Set dryer on high.

Second, If you are wrapping something small and ROUND, so the ends don't poke out, or you have that balloon affect, poke holes in the corners that you are burning with a straight pin. Nothing larger, just enough for air to move out.

Third, if you are wrapping a round object, don't cut off the excess.... twist it tight and heat all the way around the twisted area. THEN cut off the excess. It seems to hold better if you twist first then heat. If you cut off the excess it doesn't seem to hold shut as well. It easily opens

Fourth, lay object in wrap on the floor or a table and roll as you heat so you don't burn your fingers.

They are made of a pretty thick plastic that hold my bath bombs tightly.
