Anyone with any brains knows that when you buy something new, certain things will have to be changed out due to the low price tag and competition with other units. It's the time honored old addage, "You get what you pay for". I found that the gloves,hoses, and light were all really cheap and flimsy. But what do you expect with these Chinese units?. That's right Chinese. An American unit like snap-on or Mac or some other American brand would cost five times as much. The basic shell of the cabinet is fine, the gloves,hoses and the light, should be changed out with heaveier units. Thanks in advance,Mikey

As the old adage goes - you get what you pay for - is very true for this cabinet, however...
The unit functions great. I used glass bead media and it does a great job. But my gripe has to do with a few minor details the instructions do not address so I will add them and save you some heartache.
1. The light is too dim. The light provided is 12v fluorescent. If you use this in a shop with overhead lights or use it outdoors you will find it very challenging seeing what you are blasting. So I had a 12v LED light strip kit sitting around and I installed it inside the cabinet and that solved the problem.
2. Use caulking or silicon. The media is so fine that even a pin-sized hole will leak. Primarily at the bottom. So it is best to put a bead of silicon along each seam in the collection tank and especially at the little box at the bottom along the edges.
3. Dust. If you do not have a dust collector and use this thing indoors it will not take long for it to fill your workspace with a cloud of fine glass particles. I think if you put some type of filter element in the hole at the backside of the unit (making sure to allow it to breathe) then it will cut down on the dust significantly.
Aside from these few extra steps you have a pretty decent unit for the price. My thoughts are this - if you need a cabinet to get you started then this is perfect.

Capacity Floor Blast Cabinet about a month ago for ruffing up our parts before the camouflaging process for our Duck boat line. Works great. Here is a tip that we found works well. Caulk the joints during assembly. This really helps in preventing dust leaks.
