As good as Toppik and X-Fusion

The only reason I gave this 4 stars is due to how incredibly messy it is. I have been using hair fibres for a few years now, and while I really like Toppik and X-Fusion, they are just super pricey. I have been on the look out for cheaper alternatives, and gave Crown a try. It does work as well as it's higher end counterparts, and has the same staying power. All hair fibers are gonna be messy to a certain extent..but this seems to just fly everywhere during application, more so than Toppik and X-Fusion. It leaves my bathroom littered with brown dust, I have to wipe everyrhing down really good after each application.

I really like this product. If you have reasonable expectations I think you will be very pleased. I have thin hair on the top of my head and especially towards the front of my forehead. I find that it looks excellent on the top of my head. It is a little bit noticeable on the very front hairline. I think that is because it is the thinnest there. However you can only really tell if you are very close or under a bright light shining down. Those of you with thin hair know what I mean by the light. When I say noticeable, it looks like some makeup on the scalp, which it essentially is. Even that doesn't look bad, and looks way better than when I don't use it. I think it helps enough that maybe people won't look close. I don't notice people looking at my hair like I felt like I used to. It really helps your part, if you have a little wider part sprinkle this on and it will help it look great. After I had a baby I've struggled with my hair and this helps me to feel more confident. The color is nice and is a good match to my hair. I've tried a different product and felt like it looked greenish, this is a true medium brown in my opinion. Reasonable price, worth the money.

Thank you for an excellent product! I have used X Fusion and Toppik in the past. Both of those have gotten rather expensive, so I decided to try Crown Concealer and I was not disappointed! This is a great product and far superior to Toppix in every way, from cost to application. Obviously, the cost is better at almost half of what Toppix charges but I also think it applies more evenly and makes less of a mess. The first few photos are of clean hair with only a root booster. I use the applicator that I purchased with Toppix but you can easily tap the product from the shaker bottle. I tap it against my scalp to control where the product goes. This is all personal preference. The next two pictures show the fibers applied to my hair/scalp. I like to rub/shake my hands thru my hair to even out the fibers on my scalp. I prefer to use my styling paste after applying the hair fibers. This gets a little of the fibers on my hands (pictured) not a big deal and worth it. The last few pictures are of my styled hair. After I have styled it with the paste, I will got back with the hair fiber to touch up any scalp that I see. Doesn't take long, doesn't make a mess and I walk out the door feeling confident. So, root booster, fibers, styling paste, hair spray and I'm good.

As a long-time Toppik customer, I was disappointed when I found I could no longer find product on Amazon. After trying to order direct from the manufacturer, and then having been billed for and not receiving my bottle, I had to dispute charge and give something new a try. Glad I did.
Crown works every bit as well as Toppik or X Fusion. The only downside I see is that the fibers appear just a bit smaller so I need to spray a little more gently so it doesn't fly around everywhere. Yes folks, the Toppik brand sprayer will fit this size bottle. The dark brown matched my hair color very well. I have yet to see green-colored sweat like I did with the other brands I used. Very reasonably priced also.
For those of you having clumping issues, this may be due to the fact that you are putting just a bit too much product in your hair before applying fibers and they are sticking to that.
