I looked at many different cases, wanting a unique, artsy design, and kept coming back to this one with the tree. I'm so happy I did. The case fits my 13.3 in MacBook Pro with Retina Display perfectly. I love that the Apple light in the back is exposed because that was one of my favorite parts about the design of his MacBook. The edges of the case are smooth/flush with the laptop and so my wrist is not rubbing on the case like others I had read about. The design is beautiful on the top and bottom part of the 2 piece case. This feels much more sturdy than the $50 Speck's case I bought from Best Buy that has already cracked after 2 mos. also the surface is smooth, does not feel "plasticky". The price point is also very fair.

I really enjoy this case. It is vibrant in color. I feel as though my MAC is protected. I don't have to worry about it getting scratched when I put it in my book bag with other things. I dropped my laptop once and the case stayed on and wasn't damaged. One of the corners (see picture) does not come completely up and secure on the bottom of the laptop, because it is broken off. Before it was broken and before I dropped my laptop, it would not stay in place and would dislodge in this area. I am sure that is evidentially snagged on something in my back pack and broke. The bottom case still stayed on due to 3 other tabs (very small) tabs that hold it in place.

I LOVE THIS CASE! I honestly do. I have the purple giraffe case and it is so cute! It's made of a great material. It looks like it costs more than it actually does (the logo at the bottom of the case adds a lovely extra touch of sleekness) The only reason I took off one star is because the little clips that hold the top half of the case to the top half of the laptop are a bit too thin so it doesn't hold the case on the top of my laptop as snug as I'd like it to. When I open my laptop the case raises off the top a little. It does bother me quite a bit but it's just something I have to be a bit wary of. Other than that flaw, the case is awesome!

This is my very first MacBook Pro case. I've had 3 MacBooks since 2007 and never bought a case until now. I was searching for one for my son's mac and came across this. He has the older mac (2011) and this fit the newer Mac with retina display. I decided to get this for myself and ordered a different one for him. They came same day. This one fit perfectly on my 2014 MacBook Pro 13" with retina display. And it is absolutely gorgeous!!! It is a hard case but feels more like leather type. I love, love, love this case. I got the Love Tree design, and it is just perfect and so beautiful to look at! I wish they offered this for the older Mac with CD rom. Would very much recommend! You won't regret it.

Product was shipped in less than 2 hours from when I submitted the order, and arrived on time. My mom opened the package for me, so I don't know what the original packaging looked like, but the case arrived in excellent condition. The case looks beautiful, fits nicely, and is very easy to apply as well as remove. Reviewers of other cases mentioned difficulties in these aspects, though this case is simple. Small tabs located around the edges of the case clip onto the sides of my Macbook Pro Retina with a single push. This case features more tabs than other cases do, as well. My mom removed it once as a test, and no scratches or paint was left behind, either. Other cases are notorious for this corruption. I frequently carry my Macbook around the house and to campus and the cover has not snapped off. I was very concerned at first that the colors would bleed, but it's been four days and not a smudge has been left on my white blanket nor skin. The quality of the design remains as it was when I received it. This case will not protect from hard drops, but will protect against minor scratches, which is my intended use for it. All corners of my Macbook are protected, a rare find in a case, while the ports are left accessible. The screen is able to be opened all the way without the case snapping off or rubbing against itself- another rare and excellent feature. Minimal weight and heft is added to the Macbook with this case, and isn't even noticed after a few days. Unlike with other cases, the screen does not fall back from the additional weight. I have an eye for detail and one minor thing that bugs me about this case is that the Apple logo is not completely centered, even when installed correctly (before snapping on the lid, make sure the logo is completely visible, otherwise turn the case around). No big deal at all, though. The plastic ring surrounding the logo opening is flush against the backing of the Macbook, leaving no room for dirt and the like to creep under the case. However, the plastic edges surrounding the keyboard part is somewhat flexible, and is not perfectly flush against the sides of my Macbook. This may allow for small particles to get inside and scratch the edges over time. The plastic grating for the vents may pose the same issue, as there is a tiny amount of space between the case and the Macbook. My advice is to just be careful. A big part of the advertising is the anti-slip surface of the PU leather; however, it does not provide a significant difference in friction. It is, however, less slippery than smooth plastic is. Another difference between leather and plastic is that leather cannot "chip off" as most plastic cases seem to do, some almost immediately. Overall, this is a great case for my intended use. I originally wanted to have a case in addition to using a book cover, as the zippers are known to damage the edges of the laptops, but decided against it because of this particular case's pretty design. I'm among the youngest students on campus, and this colorful tree adds an additional playfulness without being childish. If you decide on trusting your Macbook with Fintie, you've made a good choice. (No, I was not given a free/discounted product for this review. The price is hard to beat anyways.)

Update:
21 months later, I am so sorry to say that my precious MacBook has been stolen, but I'd like to report that I have had 0 problems with its Fintie case until the very end of our time together: the colors were still perfect and vibrant, with no bleeding; no chipping or peeling of the PU leather; clips didn't snap off; case never fell off; still received compliments; still was very unique. After 6 weeks of waiting for my MacBook to show up (with no cooperation from the police or thief), I finally decided to upgrade and purchased a 2017 MacBook Pro 13 with Touchbar (and twice the RAM) today. I'd love to purchase the newer model of this case/design, but it would remind me too much of my loss! I even picked out my MacBook in gray rather than silver this time. I'm sad to see that there are less design options for the new MacBook cases, but I'd also love to see new options. Still, Fintie products are truly one-of-a-kind and still "Best in the market" in my opinion, so I'm seriously considering getting the Japanese waves design this time.
