The tester allowed me to find a very elusive leak on a vehicle that I had been chasing for weeks and which was going to cost me a good bit to get diagnosed. It was just a slightly loose hose clamp which was corrected in about 30 seconds so as far as I'm concerned, it's already paid for itself. This replaces an older tester I had which stopped working awhile back. I am sure I will be able to make future use of it. I do wish it had come with a cap test adapter but I guess you can't have everything...I will have to fabricate one of those but that shouldn't be too difficult.

I purchased this product to determine a coolant leak at top of my reservoir. It turned out to simply be a worn out cap. But pressure tester worked as instructed, be carefully once you have completed the test and released pressure upon opening of your cap. Coolant will gush and spill out still under pressure. Great to have this kit just in case. 5 STARS
Worked for GM and old cars

The kit worked for my 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP with RC85 cap, with adapter #5. Using Adapters #8 and #10, I was able to use it in my old (1970's) car with regular old radiator caps. The plunger goes down in to seal the hole, and the adapter clips on to the sides of the neck. Just don't crank it down too tightly. Mildly hoaky, but seems to work. I might sacrifice one of the other adapters for the fitting and move it over to a regular radiator cap

I was going to be charged $165 by a repair shop to find my leak, I took a chance and bought this pressure tester, I is a nice kit, I found my leak in less then 5 minutes, fixed it myself and saved over $500, since Ive used it on 2 other vehicles, it worked great on all 3 vehicles, I would recommend it for sure

Finally purchased this kit o replace my ancient Hodge Podge set of test caps and hoses/adapters. This kind of equipment can pay for itself in one application test, a must have have for shops and hard core enthusiasts. This kit is equipped with just about every adapter anyone should need, of course there are always specials out there. Nice case to hold all the parts and pieces so things don't get lost or damaged. Appears to be made well, although only time will tell that story.
