I did MANY searches and reviews before deciding on this necklace for my precious little boy, Pierre. I love that the chain goes through both pieces at the top as I read that people were saying their vial with the ashes were falling out. Not with this piece. I have had many compliments on this necklace without people knowing what it was. After sharing, with people close to me, they were all asking were they could get one. I know others have ordered this as well for their precious companions. It does not come with a funnel to add the ashes, but the place that did the cremation did mine for me. The other side of this necklace is pretty flowers if you decide you don't want to show this side. My boy has been gone a year and I still proudly wear this close to my heart. I would recommend this necklace to cherish your pet and keep them forever in your heart.
Great for the price but read the size.

It's small but I knew that from the size wish they offered bigger I would have spent the money. I have 1 for my dog who just passed and buying another with different saying but same size. Good quality hear doesn't close perfect but ashes are in small tube inside. Necklace I hang in my truck where my Coco can still go with me for a ride. I didn't want anything to big and this is nice.
Wonderful Way To Keep The Memory Of Your Pet With You Forever

I love this necklace. In that past year we have had a lot of loss and heart ache when it comes to our Fur-members. We lost our sweet golden retriever Honey to cancer. My dad and his fiance lost there sweet boxer Lucy to a bone tumor. My dads fiance loved her Lucy so much and was beyond heart broken when she lost her. I wanted to do something nice and thoughtful, but I wasn't sure what. We debated on flowers but I wanted something that would last and be more personal. I came across this and thought it was a great idea. When she put her doggie to sleep she was given the fur clippings and she had her cremated. I am not sure if she put the ashes or the fur in the necklace but I could see how it could be used for either one.
I did notice that you have to be careful with the necklace when it is opened and it seams semi fragile and I could see how it would fall part. I also think that the necklace is a little big in my opinion to be wearing it. I got it more so as just a keepsake for her to save a little bit if the ashes since she was planning to spread the rest of them. I was surprised to find out that she did end up wearing it to work though, and many of her co-workers commented and complimented her on it.

Watch the loose latch

The necklace is very pretty, but the clasp didn't latch very tight. I had to use bread ties, pull the paper cover off, and wrap the wire through the clasp to make sure it stayed closed. Dropping the ashes would not have been a good experience. Other than the latch, the necklace is fine. It took a little bit of work to get the ashed in the small container, but that's to be expected. Over all, I would make this purchase again.
They fall nice around the neck and are not as heavy as ...

I bought this when I found out my nine year old redbone had bone cancer. He's still with us, so these lockets have not been used yet (I bought two, one for me and one for my mother.) but I inspected them well upon arrival. They're bigger than I expected, but NOT bulky. They fall nice around the neck and are not as heavy as I thought they would be, which is great. Just having these lockets and knowing that our Jack will always be with us even after he's gone has been a great comfort to my mother, who is taking the news very hard. Jack is her baby, and this is really hard for her. Knowing she'll have him with her in the locket wherever she goes has helped her grieving process a GREAT deal.
