I recently started trying to get in more walking/exercise and wanted some way to calculate my steps so I could set a goal for myself each day. I wanted something simple to use that was lightweight and just counted my steps. I attach this to my clothes as soon as I get up in the morning and wear it until bed. I love it! It resets at midnight every night and keeps track of my steps for the week, as well as each day individually. I'm very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it for someone who just wants an easy way to keep track of their steps taken.
Stopped Being Reliable after 2 Months

Once I got past the setup options, the product worked great for 2 months. It was within a couple hundred steps of my wife's much more robust and expensive Fitbit and for $25, seemed like a great deal.
Then I noticed the pedometer simply stopped recording steps out of the blue. I'd look down at it, see I only have a couple thousand steps after an entire day. I'd shake it and see if that increases the step count, but still nothing. Oddly, I'd rub the back of it with my thumb using a bit of pressure and then it'd start recording steps again. I'll check it again a few hours later and no more steps being recorded. My daily routine is pretty much the same every work day so it doesn't make sense why today the device tells me I have 11000 steps and yesterday the device told me I only had 6000.
It's not a battery issue as the device has power and keeps time, it just isn't recording the steps with any amount of reliability. I'm going to try clipping it on my belt for a few weeks and see if those results are different. It's past the return window so I'm stuck with it.

It's exactly what I wanted. I had received a new pedometer a couple of years ago, with some computer bells and whistles, but found it difficult to access on my computer, and I couldn't set the time as to when to start the day. It finally malfunctioned and I decided to get this item. So far (I've used it once) it's working fine. The plusses: large, easy to read display; you can use a 12 hr or 24 hr clock mode (I use 24 hour at work, so this will supplement my watch); the vendor gave links to 2 videos that show how to set up, then how to use the pedometer that I found easy to follow; you have the option to wear it on a belt or waist, on a lanyard, or just put it in your pocket. Minuses: None yet. I did have a issue reading the modes as I was setting it up, but found out the lamp I use just above my computer cast a shadow from the display cover to the display itself and blocked the top half of the mode words. Simply getting it out from under the lamp made the shadow disappear and the modes were easy to read.

I purchased the 3DTriSport Walking 3D Pedometer and am extremely happy with it. The cost was very reasonable, and the written information and the video were informative, to the point and I had no problems setting it up. I found that the fitness step counters that are worn on the wrist do not count steps when one is pushing a shopping cart as one's arm is steady on the cart and not swinging. I shop several times a week, and can spend 30 minutes or more each day pushing carts in grocery stores, discount stores, and retail stores and my steps did not count. The 3DTriSport can be worn anywhere. It can be worn clipped on any piece of clothing or placed in a pocket. It counts every step (even when one's hands are not moving and your feet are) records them and keeps a running account of total steps until one resets it. I have only had the 3DTriSport for about 10 days at this point, but would highly recommend it. Plus, the customer service is A+ . They contact you so see if you have any problems!

Shipped quickly, received a pre-delivery email from the seller with useful links for videos on setting up and using the pedometer and received a follow-up email a week or so later offering to help explain any features that I didn't understand or any other assistance. The customer service has been exception. As to the pedometer itself I purchased it for my 81 year old mother who wanted to know how far she walked daily with her dog so I wanted something easy to use and view and this fit the bill and serves her needs perfectly. The display is large and clear for her to see and only having to use a single button to scroll through the information made it easy for her. She likes it and now she carries it everywhere.
