overall very impressed with the quality of the product. was a bit of a challenge to install myself but mainly due to the weight. it is slightly quieter than my previous fan but is definitely audible when running. Would recommend, but be aware that there are quieter fans available. however great air movement even on low and very bright lights.

I'm not going to give it 5 stars yet, as I've only had it for a few days. The finish and appearance are excellent. I liken the design to designers like Wolf. Great price, fast shipping.

**UPDATE** We've had this for about six months now and it's working well! I replaced the halogen lights with LED's.

Good all-around hood. I made purchase based on CFM (wanted more than 200 CFM) and the depth (wanted to cover the maximum amount of cooktop surface) and this hood address both of these at a reasonable price. The hood came complete with all the necessary parts and pieces for direct venting off the top or rear, and for recirculating. Only reason for the 4 star rating is the flimsy damper mounting for top direct venting using a 7"Ø duct. After installing the hood, I found that the damper had come loose and fell down onto the fan. I had to remove everything from below, including the fan blades, to reach the damper and remount it. Damper only pressure fits into a couple supports, and really should be a more secure connection.

Nice hood. Exactly what I was wanting. It moves a good amount of air. Installation instructions are worthless and were for a different model. If you are a little bit handy you don't need them. Looks great and very functional.

Built to last! This is the tank of range hoods. High quality. I felt I got what I paid for. I do installation for a living. First one of these I installed. Not necessarily easy. Some skill is a must! Screw gun with a 6" Phillips #2 a must to make easier. Weighs a lot. However it's all quality. Gonna look to see where it's made. Doesn't seem like ChinaðŸ'ðŸ'. It's a beast and has great lighting. Best suction ever! 6" outlet built in draft stop. Comes with 3 high end optional adapters. Rectangle and offset rectangle plus center round 6". This is the BEST 30" range hood I've ever seen for high CFM. BLUE OCEAN 30" twin blower 3 grease traps and 3 oil pan drains. Super 1 second removal to clean. Cut legs from scrap wood to hold in place. It's heavy even with helper. Because awkward weight. Cabinet will hold it fine. Has a cord so I installed outlet box in cabinet. Just re-routed wire up and over. Range hood covered the hole. Yes I taped it! IMPORTANT there is no room between hood and cabinet to put wire. So it pretty much needs power source in cabinet above. You can cut plug off and wire direct. But wires must be above inside cabinet. Wire exits up on back right side. FYI it's a true 30" inches. It fit but was real tight. Looks nice with no gaps tho. Hope this helps. Very interesting grease system. Make sure you have rubber line inside drain hole to work properly. Comes out farther then most hoods to get all the smoke and fumes. I personally think this one is superior overall other brand residential range hoods. It could possibly be used in food trailers. Minus fire suppression. 4 hour install including one trip to Home Depot for reducer collar And one trip to ace hardware for outlet box and receptacle. Screws are pretty long. You most likely will need shorter ones. Yes almost definitely. Overall noise level is a plus. Two large fans do the work. So they don't have to spin like a single small fan. It is quieter than 90% of the ones out there. Must disassemble to install. That is really a plus makes install a little easier. Very well built. Like indestructible. Instructions yeah but just breezed over them. The disassembly taught me what I needed to know. Don't forget the rubber lines. Blessings!
