Beautiful, but cannot address durability.

Recommend these for warm, dry climates, out of direct sun. In Southern California, I had many "gazing" balls which held up well. Here in Virginia, after reading about how many of these IN GENERAL crack during a freezing winter, I chose not to keep them. If your weather is not extreme, I highly recommend these; they are beautiful and appear to be VERY well made.

While there may be color variations that aren't acceptable to some buyers, this is such a pretty piece and there are so many colors that it will blend with most every decor. Feels substantial and the flat bottom is a very nice feature.

I gave this to a friend as a gift, and when I told her inside the box was a gazing globe, she made a sour face. Then, she opened it and was absolutely thrilled with it. Not at all like she had pictured in her mind. The colors on the photo featured don't do it justice. It is absolutely beautiful and fits into any color patio funiture design or landscape.

I ordered this glazing globe specifically because of the brown tones reflected in the picture posted for this product. I was so excited to open the box when it arrived today. I was surprised and very disappointed when I pulled the globe out of the box. It is far more blue (lots more). I would not call it "earth" tones. I'm still trying to wrap my brain around the disparity. Do I think the glazing globe is beautiful, absolutely. However, I'm not a person who leans toward blues. I agree with another buyer's comment that the company should update the picture to reflect the product on hand. Regardless of its beauty and quality, I will probably return the item.
