These are very sturdy, but tend to lean. It's like the bottom part does not go into the ground far enough. I piled rocks around the bottom to keep it straight. Also the base that holds the gazing ball is too small for most gazing balls. I have three gazing balls and only one fit securely into the holder. The other two balls had bases that were to big to come even close to fitting into the ball holder on the stake. Be forewarned, there is obviously not a standard size base for gazing balls.
