I am a plus size person who has lost a bit of weight recently although but not enough to qualify for a smaller size. However, most of my pants are about 4 inches too large around the waist necessitating wearing a belt to keep them comfortably where I need them to be so I am not constantly tugging them up.Unfortunately, traditional leather belts just do not do the trick. They have no give in them and make me feel like a sausage tied in the middle. In addition metal belt buckles dig into my midsection and protrudes under shirts and blouses. I had been unable to find anything elastic except the wide ones women wear with dresses or on the outside of tunic tops that are designed to enhance the appearance of said outfits and were too wide to go through belt loops to keep pants in place. I found these on Amazon, and they are exactly what I needed. They come in two adjustable sizes and several colors, fit through the belt loops on all my pants, give sufficiently to allow for moving in comfort and the fastener lies flat and unseen beneath blouses and shirts. I bought two, one black and one navy. I highly recommend to those who are experiencing the same problem I have as well as to anyone who values comfort.

I was skeptical but glad I bought it. it is sturdy but lightweight. It dosent dig into my back like traditional belts do when leaning or bending forward. i dont even realize i have it on. it is like a sturdy piece of elastic that you can adjust the tightness. you just put it around your waist, adjust the strap and then put it on your pants. like most women the problem i have is that the jeans cover my rear but then their is a gap around my waist. This belt actually made my jeans fit better without all the bulk. I wear form fitting shirts and you cant tell i am wearing a belt. highly recommend.

This is a very comfortable belt that I selected in navy instead of its competitor's offering because the latter's dark blue was named "denim" which can be anywhere from the darkest of new, over-dyed jeans to the faded blue of much-worn denims. It's dark but not as dark as the background of my Lee Women's Midrise Fit Essential Chino Short, Spring Blossom, 10 recently purchased here because I thought its floral colors were printed on black. The belt still looks good with them though, but I think one would have to have a nearly concave stomach to completely eliminate the "buckle bulge" under a top worn over shorts, etc.
It took a few tries before I was able to unbuckle it quickly though. The "edge" the seller refers to in this listing is the end of the larger part of the buckle assembly---right where it's attached to the elastic---that should be pressed to unbuckle the belt. Despite that I'm very happy with this belt and intend to purchase one or two additional colors.

I hate the fact that my regular belt "shows" underneath my tops as a big bulky object! I was so excited to find this "invisible belt". I read the reviews and read one that showed a picture and said she could see it. Other reviews thought the belt to be great. I thought I'd give it a shot. Well, it IS noticeable. If you position the buckle over the button of your pants, where it's supposed to be, it does indeed stick out and is not invisible at all!. But I've compromised and since I wear shirts over my pants, I center the plastic buckle off to the side so it doesn't sit on top of the button of my pants. Doing this makes it less noticeable. I also have some pull-on capri's that are fabric in front and elastic in the back and I need a belt, so I kept this belt specifically because it should work fine with these.

This works as advertised as a low-profile way to keep jeans in place. (As someone with flat hips, this is an ongoing issue.) It's even helpful in reducing the downward slide for those Jag pull-on jeans that don't have belt loops.
Not a pretty belt, but not ugly, and highly functional. Clasp is very easy to buckle and unbuckle.
Update: I bought this in April; it's now September, and after wearing it 4 or 5 days a week with my jeans, the belt is still in great shape. I'm buying another color.
