The little plastic tabs clip the DS XL into the handle broke off after taking it off and puting it back on 3 times very disappointed. You have to take it off to change cartridges.

Using the 3DS XL without the grip is akin to playing during the Spanish Inquisition. Torture. The 3DS is an awesome gaming machine but has horrible ergonomics. At least this makes it bearable.

This grip is perfect if you're looking for something to add a bit more "Oomph" to the 3DS unit. It's not as big as the other grips I own, and so not as intrusive. Snaps on, and off without any issue, but be careful removing the 3DS as you could very easily rip the tab which hold the unit in place off without noticing. Aside from that small flaw, I can't really complain for the price.

I just received this in the mail today, had to write a review. I have the "New 3DS XL" , this little accessorie works great! My hands are to big for the system normally and my hands would get cramps from the controls. When using this "grip handle" it makes a big difference, it adds some thickness and makes it a lot more comfortable to use.

it was great for the first month i had it, but there is a tiny plastic tab the holds the 3ds in place. That tab was flimsy and with light usage, it broke off. now my system floats in this.
