These are great bands for all kinds of uses. I use one for a drawing easel. It easily expands around the easel and my paper or canvas and holds it securely to the board, even in high winds. It expands about twice its length and has not shown any hint of failure, cracking, drying out or leaving any residue. I have found tons of other uses for them and use them on a regular basis. I really like the assortment package so I can have what ever size that seems appropriate for the task.

I use these in my Instant Pot, each time I am cooking pot-in-pot, using a springform pan or pyrex baking dish. The bands provide that handle that I need to lift out the pot or pan from the Instant Pot, without burning my fingers. The assorted sizes (4", 6", 9" and 12") come in very handy, and there were enough of them for me to share with my daughters!
