This paper works well very well for the intended purpose. I transfer drawn art to wood for sculpture, relief or veneer work. You have to be careful about inadvertent smudging and it does not erase well on wood surfaces.
Transfers but not suitable for watercolor.

Works well, but hard to erase. Black has a bit of wax in it to help it stick. Seems that wax melts into paper, making erase impossible. Manufacturer said to use kneadable eraser. Tried but not much better.

I am an artist who works in graphite. Normally I do my line drawing on one sheet of paper and then transfer it to my final support to finish the drawing. In order to do this, I cover the back of my line drawing with graphite from a graphite stick and trace it onto my final sheet of paper. This has worked well for me, but when I saw this item I thought I might be able to cut out some work time. When I opened the wrapper, I didn't see that at least one of the sheets had shed its graphite backing. When I took out one of the sheets, a cloud of graphite flakes followed, covering my desk, drawing materials and floor. The rest of the sheets are unusable because the flakes are everywhere. I'm sure that these sheets are a splendid idea, but my experience has not been. I threw the remaining sheets away and will not purchase this item again.
Does not erase well on watercolor paper.

Used this graphite transfer paper on Arches 300# watercolor paper with poor results. Pressing lightly produced no image; using slightly heavier pressure produced a transfer that was impossible to sufficiently erase/lighten (using kneaded eraser) so as to not be seen through several watercolor washes. Am returning this product.

This graphite paper is perfect for tracing images onto paper. I use it to trace pictures and words in nice fonts into my journal and art journal. I am so glad a friend recommended this and I will do the same to everyone else.
