I had the same old Gibson winder for years and years, which broke recently. The only thing making it a Gibson product is that was what was silkscreened on it. Point being that these five winders I just received look exactly the same, minus any logo/silkscreening, and the price is probably similar to what I paid for the single Gibson one.
As far as quality goes, there's only one piece that can break on this type of winder, and I can't imagine how it would be inferior on these.
I like that the colors they come in are random, with many being translucent - it's kind of like buying picks in bulk and getting the same thing.
Also, back when I got my Gibson winder, I only had one or two guitars. I currently have over ten, so it's helpful to have more than one winder.
