I ordered this not knowing that the day it was to be delivered was forecast to be 98 degrees F (that's 98F for those of you that do temperatures in other scales. YOU convert it, I know what 98 feels like!). Anyway, I was positive I would come home to a box containing a bag containing a bunch of individual pieces of, essentially, chocolate liquid.

Wouldn't you know it, these magnificent bastards packed the bag in a silver foil thermal bag (really, just bubble wrap that's silver on the outside and white on the inside, but impressive all the same), and not 1, not two, but THREE cold packs inside? Of course, the cold packs were melted. And the chocolates themselves (the 3 I tested) were easily moldable by pinchinc them, but by no means melted.

I froze those cold packs, those things will come in handy. but order with confidence should you be in the middle of a 98°F heat wave!

The chocolate arrived promptly and in great condition. It's bigger than expected, in a good way. It's a perfect assortment and easy to reuse if you open with care. I will definitely buy these again for future company meetings. Have to keep people happy and snacking as we go through PowerPoint slides. I am happy, happy, happy. I bought a great big tin of Halloween candy and now it is being used for these minis. It's a perfect fit. I adore chocolate, but I don't want, or need to eat entire large bars. These small bits are just right. Some days I might eat 5 of them, other days 1 or 2. This will last me a good long while and give me enough variety to keep me content. This is something I will order again.

I'm assuming since this item took an extra day to be delivered is the reason why everything was melted. The cold packs inside where useless and only added to the problem since they were really hot after opening the package. Chocolate may be chocolate but order this for my candy stash at work. Nothing says "WTF" like a melted mini Twix.

My review is only a reflection of the price and not the quality of the product.

I paid $25 for this 4-lb bag and I found a 5.6 lb bag in Costco for $15.

Long story short, do not overpay if the price is $15 or higher.
