You cannot lose ordering a digital scale from Greater Goods. I loved this scale, since it showed BMI, percentage of bone, water, and fat, and it lights up so I can weigh at night easily. When it began to act up -- suggesting I was losing several tenths of a pound in a few hours (wasn't the truth), and the battery compartment connections seemed to be acting up, I called the company. Greater Goods not only refunded my 34.99 immediately, but also gave me a 20% off coupon code to get a replacement for only $23.99! Yes, it was Nick whom I spoke with. You will see his comments each time an unhappy customer complains on Amazon, but who did not bother to contact the company for redress, telling them to contact him. This company wants a happy customer. This scale tracks closely with the $4,300 dollar Tanita model they use at the weight loss center I am going to.

At first I was impressed and even a tad mesmerized my the sleek packaging and presentation. The metal and glass looking clear plastic model appeared modern and professional. Surely I had lucked out with such an amazing scale that didnt completely empty my wallet. And I continued to believe this the first week that I used the scale, however when I had my younger brother step on I was in disbelief. As a chubby teeneager his weight seemed accurate but body fat percentage was jawdropping and not at all acceptable. The percentage was 15%... a reasonable measurement for elite athletes but completely insane for a minecraft loving kid. With the little hope that I had left for the product and slightly praying that I hadn't just gotten ripped off, I decided to test the product just once more. I decided to see if it's water percentage could rescue the scales authenticity. Again it missed its mark by a mile. In the mid morning, no having eaten or had anything to drink I measured mysel- 54.7% ok... so I chugged 3 bottles of water, waited a half hour and tested it again... 49.2% um ya no. Unfortunately this eye appealing sleek scale did absolutely nothing to meet its claims in terms of purpose and use.

This is an awesome product!!!! It has helped me to keep on my goal because I can watch my bmi and body fat percentage instead of just my weight which shows me I am still progressing even when it doesn't feel like it. I highly recommend this product! I have already suggested it to multiple people in my family.

Exactly what I wanted. The scale does not come with paper directions. There will be a website printed on the box and a video you can watch on the website. It really isn't that hard to figure out. Works great and gives me a general idea of my body composition.

The bells and whistles of this scale are cool (e.g., BMI and body fat percentage), but the #1 thing I want from a scale is accuracy, and this one simply falls short in that area. I stepped on this scale three different times right in a row and got three noticeably different readings, so unfortunately mine failed at a scale's #1 task. Will probably return and buy a plain ol' analog scale at Target.
