I'm purchased these bulbs for use in my bathroom air ventilation system. This system is the type found in spa's and luxury hotels. It has three bulbs. It has a light, light with exhaust fan and a heat lamp. I needed two of the white light bulbs in the spot light shape. The additional 5 watts (most bulbs are for 60 watt replacement) helps brighten the bathroom nicely. I am happy with the fit, finish, shape and appearance. As they are newly installed I don't know anything about bulb life yet. The bulbs arrived in a protective box placed inside a shipping box with additional padding and packaging material.

These are so bright that I couldn't tell they were dimming. I used these to replace some of our recessed lights. When I dimmed them they looked like they had even dimmed but it was because they are so much brighter than the Phillips LEDs! So make sure you put these in a place where you want a LOT of light! They are almost too bright.

If you like a very bright white light like a garage light in your kitchen then these lights are for you. They have no color as advertised. When dimmed they light is a off white gray and looks awful. Not warm and inviting like a kitchen should be. I would not recommend these and will be sending mine back.

I have about 30 of these up in ceiling hi hats. Dimming on these works better than any I have had. They have been in use for several months now, none have died or presented issues yet. I hope they last as several of my bulbs need a ladder and long stick to change them. Color is great too. Most but not all are on dimming GE Z Wave dimmers so they are used daily due to automatic schedule.

Pleasantly surprised - these LEDs are nice. They fit the BR30 canisters well. They dim fairly well with no buzzing or other issues. Color is a nice bright white - not yellow, not blue, just clean white. Note: these have very high brightness. For some rooms, that is great; for others, it is too much.
