There's a story to why I bought this. So my husband is military. One Christmas he was deployed to Iraq. Our two boys (they were I think 3 and 4) and I sent him a little tree, hand made ornaments, presents wrapped to go under it and a lot of cards and treats. I also had each boy take a silly and a cute picture. We printed them and stuck them in this snow globe. So one side was our son silly and the other being cute. One snowglobe for each boy sent to Daddy. He loved everything we sent but the snowglobes were his favorite. The snowglobes came home with him and got added to our Christmas decor. Each year he'd set them on the piano and smile at them. Well one year we had a little girl and after a few years she wanted to know why she didn't have a snowglobe. Daddy tells her that her brothers got him those as presents before she was born. So for Christmas that year I helped her track a matching one down (Amazon is amazing!), take the pictures and put it together, and then put it under the tree for Daddy. She was so excited she wouldn't hold still while he unwrapped it! When Daddy unwrapped it he was so surprised and excited! He added it to his collection immediately! Now he has one for both his boys and his little girl.
I know. That doesn't tell you about the product itself just why I bought it. So here: It survived UNBROKEN a trip to us in Colorado from wherever it was made, a trip to Iraq, a trip back to Colorado and at least 8 years at this point. It's refillable should you ever have water evaporate too much. It's got glitter and snow! It holds two pictures. IT'S GREAT! It's the perfect gift. So buy some!!!!
