Being from the Northeast, I can value a warm layer. These fit well, and are so lightweight it is easy to wear them under regular clothing. They are about as thick as a layer of tights, but so warm. I will put them on in the morning and I find because they are silk, they don't get too warm when I'm indoors, but are very warm under clothes when I'm outdoors. They wash up easily in a lingerie bag in the washer - I hang dry them (I think the dryer would ruin them). They are a little pricey (because they are silk!) but they will last for years if you take care of them. I have a few sets and wear them daily in cold weather.

Fabric is good, gives soft warmth without bulk, but top is small! I am normally a medium, but have somewhat long arms, so got a large, and the sleeves are still a bit short, top is snug. Could have even gone XL. But I love wearing silk shirts under wool sweaters in the winter, much warmer than cotton, and these actually feel like nicer fabric than my silk tops from LLBean.

The large is really almost a medium. I just happen to be between a medium and a large so they fit perfectly. I really like the thicker weave. Most silk thermals I have bought in the past have a looser weave. These are nice and tight. They almost feel like nylon but I know they aren't because nylon makes my skin feel funny. These also have the weight that real silk has. Overall, I like them.
