Perfect to spice up your home.

Before I purchased this I lived an average life. I woke up, went to work, came home, and went to bed. Since I bought this everything has become extraordinary.. I come home from work, click it on, and my living room becomes a discotec. The neighbors flock to my house to relive the 70's. Bell bottoms ravage the dance floor, and there is no sleep. The cops attempt to stop the party but it is impossible to make their way through the thick forest of afros. We hosted a house party and wanted to turn our porch into a disco theme, not obnoxious, but mood setting for sure. These awesome little lights did the trick. Small, yet sturdy and bright, they projected an awesome array of colors that really grooved with the music. It made the event so much fun. Works totally as promised and a steal of a deal for the less than 20 dollars I paid. Two of these little disco miracles made my giant front porch in Key West look like a tropical disco party. I am very pleased with this product and it will suit my needs perfectly. The only design flaw is the power button on the remote does not turn the unit off. It only turns the lights off. Since I am putting in store display windows, it is very inconvenient to physically plug and unplug them daily. I purchased timers to turn on/off when it is dark and light outside and they make my display windows look very festive. For Christmas the red and green reflect off my foil fringe curtains beautifully. I will use red for Valentine's Day and Green for St. Patrick's Day. Blue and red for our patriotic holiday's along with the white lights around my window will look awesome. This is a great product for parties where unplugging is not an issue. I highly recommend for such events, but for using like I am, I need to be able to turn the power completely off to save electricity. Do not expect one unit to fill large room with the effects. But at this price, having several of them around a large room would be perfect. They can be used for many occasions. They would be even better if a white light was part of the package. So, maybe in their continuing development they could add white as well.

It is small, but it lit up my entire garage, even with the use of a fog machine.
We used it for my step daughter's birthday party, and it was a total hit!
We got it about a week before the actual party, and it was in the garage, being used, every day, until the party.
We used it again on Halloween, and it is still in perfect working condition.
I hope that we can use it again next year, but living in Minnesota, things don't tend to last through the winter, and I know if I bring it inside, with 6 kids, it will be used every day.

Exceptional value. works as expected. i only gave 4 stars because I do not notice the light following the music. I am not sure this product description said that the lights flash AND rotate. It does in fact, rotate. Which I sort of assumed but wasn't sure. ( I did put near a speaker, as otherreviewers suggested). The product arrived on time. This item is going to add energy to all of our future parties & provides extra umph while my son and I dance along to our Wii games. I did notice that while it's plugged in, that when I hit the power remote button to "off" that the mechanics continued to rotate inside the fixture, so I simply unplug it when not in use...could have been operator error.
