there are better deals out there, and the "cutter" is nothing more than thick fishing line. Does't cut very well, but the planer on the other side is its best feature

The box works okay, but It has several flaws. First, it is hard to clean; soap gets embedded in the grooves. The string cutter attachment doesn't slice completely through to the bottom without difficultly, so I prefer my metal slicer. The groove at the bottom makes it easy to have a clean cut, but the two cuts are different sizes, which is a pain. Don't like the width of the second cut. It is too wide, 1.25"! One slice at a time. It's also much wider (3.75") than the average soap mold (3-3.25"); it has to be realigned with each cut making it timely. My homemade cutter box works much much better and cost me nothing to make, scrap wood
