Price was great for the kit, but don't recommend this carburetor as it was unadjustable.
JRB•September 12, 2017
Everything worked good except the carburetor itself. Used it to replace the original Zama carburetor instead of rebuilding the original. Fuel lines, air filter, primer bulb, etc worked great. I didn't use the spark plug as I didn't need it yet, but the carburetor couldn't keep the engine running. I adjusted the idle control and that was ok, but when I tried to adjust the high limit adjustment it just would not turn in or out far enough to adjust it to keep the engine running. Ended up buying a rebuild kit for the original Zama carburetor and the Echo trimmer is back to running like a top. Kit was nice for all the extra stuff, but can't recommend this carburetor.
GREAT PRODUCT!! Easy to install, worked first time!

Same price as a rebuild kit but you get everything including a new carburetor and spark plug.
Very easy to install, all you need is a screwdriver.
Step 1. Take several pictures of the carburetor before you begin.
Step 2. Remove the Filter cover and filter.
Step 3. Pull throttle trigger and observe cable on carburetor, hold cable lever and release throttle trigger. This will allow you to remove the cable from the carburetor cable lever.
Step 4. Unscrew 2 long screws revealed under the filter. Remove carburetor leaving screws in the carburetor, this should keep the gaskets in correct position. Take several pictures of the gaskets.
Step 5. Remove 2 long screws from the old carburetor and insert them in toe the new carburetor with the new gaskets in the correct position. Referencing your pictures place on to the motor and loosely tighten 2 long screws. DO NOT tighten one screw all the way. Tighten each screw a little at a time, this will correctly seat the gasket.
Step 6. Insert throttle cable into long brass fitting. Move carburetor cable lever towards the brass fitting and insert the cable in the slot of the carburetor cable lever. Be sure that the knob on the end of the cable slides into the hole under the slit in the carburetor cable lever.
Step 7. Install new air filter and filter cover.
Step 8. Install new spark plug and go whack some weeds.

Imagine my surprise when it started on the first pull.

Buy it, you'll like it. My Echo weedwacker was becoming a bear to use; a PIA to start, no longer able to keep consistent power, constantly bogging down. I cleaned every port and part contributing to combustion, including removing the muffler and cleaning the exhaust port as well as replacing the spark plug, to no avail so as a last resort I bought this kit. It took only a few minutes to install with basic tools and all the parts I needed were included.
Imagine my surprise when it started on the first pull. Very happy with the purchase and will get another to keep on hand.
One tip: when you go to install the plug with the three hoses (fuel, fuel return and vent) into the fuel tank it will put up a real fight because you cant get the plug to compress easily. Pull out the two shortest hoses: fuel return and vent, then push the plug into the hole, you might need a flat head screw driver to work it in but it will be much easier without the other two hoses.
Now grab some liquid soap and a q-tip. dab the q-tip in the soap then poke it in the two empty holes of the plug, applying a thin film inside. Now push the two hoses back in the plug.

Great Repair Kit for Short Money . . . highly recommended.
Paul T. Klenk•June 21, 2017
For the price, this is a very comprehensive repair kit. Includes full carb, spark plug, prime bubbles, grommet for full tank along with correct tubing. Gaskets also included. I did not need to replace the carb so I will save that for another time. However, the original rubber grommet along with tubing was destroyed by time and the elements. Everything is a perfect fit and functions perfectly. Excellent bargain!
By the way, I saw a few comments regarding the longevity of some lines. Really? Look at the price and the number of components included. If you have a problem, then you can replace the entire kit for short money. And, if you still have a complaint, then buy OEM. People expect everything but are unwilling to pay the price.

Buy this...and dont mess with carb rebuilt kits!!!

I messed around with my old 1998ish Echo 200R and spent about $40 on carb rebuild kit and parts. I simply could not keep it running with new parts. I jump on Amazon and here is a whole carb for under $20!!!!
I got it in two days with Prime. Unpacked and literally installed it in less than 10 minutes. Started in 3 pulls and runs flawlessly. After at least 3 years of it running worse and worse I can't believe it was that easy. I adjusted silver screw for a faster idle and away I went. Buy it!!!!!!!!
