My kids and I have had a blast with these! They do not color at all as smoothly as regular crayola crayons, but they do smell good. Some of the colors you can barely smell, and some are more strong. But either way, coloring with an 8, 6, and 2 year old is simply more fun with these. We are not doing major art projects, we color specifically to have fun with the smells. If they are working on something more serious, we use nicer crayons. These are just thicker for whatever reason. I should add, though, that my kids don't notice the difference, but I do. In addition, they seem to wear down faster than a regular crayola crayon. We have only had them a month and some of the colors are almost gone. I do love that they are twist-up style, though!! Helps with the breakage majorly!!

Because the smell part is a bit inconsistent, I wouldn't pay a ton for them, and I happened to grab them when they discounted pretty deeply discounted. Also, because they don't last very long, I would not buy them again unless I caught a really good deal (which, to me would be around $3-$4).

My 4 year-old loves these. They are a bit less accurate than coloured pencils but better than regular crayons. The only downside is that the crayons sometimes slide right out of their cases for some unknown reason. The scents are nice but the novelty of that quickly wore off for my boy.

Has only ONE scent none of the color pencils smell differnet. All have a strong perfume type of smell. I was extremely disappointed. I was hoping these would smell as great as the mr. Sketch markers I remember as a kid. Don't waste your money Edited: 8/12/17 on a good note colors beautifully and smooth that's what I do love about them

Our son loves these new twistable crayons from Mr. Sketch! They have so many fun scents and colors and are very easy to use. The crayon doesn't move back down when using, as some other twisting art supplies do. This is going to be great for school, as the scent is not as strong as the markers, so they teacher will let them use them in the classroom. Will definitely buy again! Highly recommend. My daughters absolutely love these, as well as anything else Mr sketch! It's fun to smell the different scents while coloring, and it always brings me back to my childhood because they were my favorite marker brand. I'm glad they've expanded to include skinny markers, colored pencils and crayons! Definitely buying more of these!
