Good but wish it came with F connector

Works perfect, saved so much time chasing cables. Be sure to get some F-Type connectors since the color coded pieces won't push onto a cable end, they only push onto a female wall outlet.
This saved me a lot of time

I wish I had purchased this many years ago when I moved into our house!
We have 6 cables coming out of our attic. I was trying to think of ways to check each cable, and was going to revert to using a voltmeter for each cable which would have required several trips up and down the folding attic stairs to test each cable one at a time.
I saw this tester on Amazon, and it included ends for testing up to 4 locations at a time. Wasn't sure it would work as advertised, but it did, allowing me to test 4 cables and their individual outlets at one time. All I needed to do was disconnect all the cables, plug the 4 included ends into the room cable outlets, noting which color was in each room, and then hit the test button when connected to one cable at a time, and the tester told me which room was at the end of each cable. Saved so much time!

Great little tool

This tool solved a lot of issues about coax wiring in our house. The house was 20 years old and has about 10 coax cables running into the basement. None of them were labeled. I attached an over the air antenna and had to do some splicing in basement and attic. Could not tell if splices were faulting or house lines. Within 10 minutes of delivery, all issues solved. Now I have a tool in the tool box for the next house in another 10 years :-)
Works well

Works as expected. Note - won't work thru many splitters if in between.
Worked Great - easy to use

I got this to self install my new Verizon FIOS internet. I didn't know which cable went to which room for the Extender, and this device worked perfectly. You just push one of the colored caps onto the cable jack in the room, then connect to the cables in your box or basement and press the button. The light corresponding to the color illuminates when it's that cable. Then you can put a piece of masking tape on the cable and label the room for future. I did all 4 caps in 4 different rooms at a time to save time. Device is small and lightweight, great for DIYers
