Because they are kind of thick,these sleeves are fine if you are only keeping one or two cards in your wallet, or if you are sharing with family members (a few for everyone). The passport case is nice. I guess they have to be thick to accommodate the metallic inner layer attached to the cardboard. Seem to be good enough quality.

I really like the ones I had for the last couple of years they were thinner, these are thick almost like cardboard.

These sleeves are too thick to fit appropriately in wallets. After a few days use, everyone in my family took their bank cards out and left them on the table. IMO it's a waste of money.
