Probably the most important upgrade you'll purchase after your tires and lift

I wish I did this sooner... Do you remember the way your Jeep drove before you lifted it and put those gigantic tires on there? After my lift and tires my 2014 JKU Rubicon always felt sluggish (2.5" lift and 35" tires). It still has plenty of torque and spunk so it wasn't bad but it just didn't feel as peppy. Additionally, the speedometer and odometer were off. I didn't mind these parts so much but after a bit of research I found that bigger tires also impacted your automatic transmissions shift points. Your vehicle runs at higher RPM's and doesn't shift correctly because it's not calibrated for larger tires.
This tool took less than 10 minutes to update on my computer and then 5 minutes to re-calibrate the tire size. I took it on a drive immediately after and noticed a huge difference. The RPM's ran lower, gas utilization reported correctly, and the speedometer was correct (used GPS speeds, measured trip distance, and used city posted speed readers to validate).
I'd highly recommend this for no other reason than updating the shift points on your transmission. It's running smoother and has it's original car pep back. It has a lot of other functionality i'm sure I will use later but for now the tire size piece is my favorite.

Worked great for me!

Recently added Nitto Ridge Grapplers 295/70 17R and a 3.5 inch lift. Got it aligned and all was pretty good after, but notice sluggishness when the automatic trans would change gears. Just a slow shift or seemed to delay the shift especially going up an inclined hill, even a small hill. Started researching and found the Flashcal reviews and said "what the heck and worth a try". Very happy with this purchase. I was able to change my tires with the device to 33" and a noticeable difference in the automatic shift like before. I also consider myself lucky as the TPMS was still psi adjustable after I did the MAC 1.0 (yes worked on a MAC computer) Ignition update on the website. I did the website upgrade right out of the box prior to plugging into the Jeep 2016 JK. After the upgrade, I plug it into the Jeep and PSI TPMS Adjustment Threshold was available. I didn't expect the PSI adjustment to be there from what I've read from other reviewers, but it was and I adjusted down the PSI threshold to 28 for my purposes. I do not plan to update from the website again as I'm afraid another update might take away that functionality with the TPMS PSI Threshold adjustment or so I've read.
Regardless, I made a few other of the changes as bonus features like low beam daytime running lights, etc. I bought it to adjust tire size to 33's and offer smoother automatic transmission shift and it worked. The PSI adjustment threshold and other features are icing on the cake. Overall, great purchase and does what it says. Worth the price and glad it worked out.
Note to Superchips: Superchips you need to lower your price back to $99 or less to upgrade to the precision tune 3576 software.

Just got it and updated it..more to come!
!!UPDATE!!
First I bought the flashcal, took it straight home and registered/updated it, do this before you use it. I took it out to my jeep and made a few adjustments as far as tire size and pressure (TPMS.) Noticed the correction in performance immediately. There are a lot of options this will correct as you make changes to your jeep and there are a few frivolous things you can change as well.
Happy with everything I went back in and ran the updater again and purchased the warranty and the upgrade to flashpaq because it's in the flashpaq where you affect changes to the tuning of your jeep. So I bought my 2012 rubi unlim. used and found out that it actually came from Canada and whomever owned it up there had used a flashpaq on it as well because the one I had wouldn't make and changes being a different s/n and all. I called customer support and within a day and a couple emails I had my tuning fixed. Now this is where you need to know that if you buy a used flashpaq/flashcal it will be locked to whatever the vin is for the vehicle it came from and you will have to pay for them to fix it. Not fair if you ask me because its not your fault that it's vinlocked but it is your fault if you knowingly buy a used one. I recommend buying it direct from superchips or a verified re-seller. Customer service from superchips is top-line.

Tips for use, & works well except 1 thing...

For the most part, does what it's supposed to do on my '13 JKUR. Only issue I have with it is that when adjusting the TPMS low pressure warning down to it's lowest setting (22psi if I remember correctly), the dash board warning light still trips when running my tires at 26psi on the street. Not a huge deal since u can turn the TPMS completely off w/the tool if you want, but doesn't work as advertised in that regard. This will come into play if you are running aftermarket off road tires (which you probably are)...the recommended pressure listed in your door jamb typically doesn't apply to heavier-duty off road tires w/additional plies & beefier construction/load ratings. If you want to get the most life out of your awesome new off road tires, search "tire chalk test" on YouTube & run the correct pressure for your specific vehicle/tire combo. You will most likely find that if you're inflating to the factory recommended pressure & running aftermarket off road tires, they are over-inflated & running mostly on the center of the tread instead of evenly accross the tread contact patch (aka "crowning") causing accelerated wear.
When entering your tire diameter into the tool, take the time to measure the ACTUAL tire diameter with a tape measure & don't just go off of what the sidewall says...they're usually not accurate. Tire size is selectable in 1/4" increments...the closer the measurement the more accurate your speedo will be, your auto trans will shift (if you have one), & your odometer will read.
I would recommend to a friend with confidence
