Heavy, a little larger than I expected- but very definitely a great product. Closes almost seamlessly, could be sealed easily if you want a permanent seal on it, and is smoothly polished. The chain is crap, but let's face it, we're not buying it for the chain, and I expect most people will replace it soon enough- it will definitely do well enough if you want/need to use the chain it comes with though.
I was worried that the opening wouldn't be large enough to fit what I needed to fit inside of it (larger pieces of bone), but the opening is almost as wide as the container itself and I had no problems.
