The Britenway window cover saves me so much time and hassle. No more scraping the front window! I own a minivan and the worst window to scrape is the front one. It is extra wide and I have trouble reaching across. In addition, I am worn out by the time I finish scraping.
This cover installs easily the night before. The magnets hold the cover in place even if you are trying to install on a windy day. There are side flaps that are held in place by the doors and a string tie for inside for extra protection against super windy days. In addition, I can install this by myself!
In the morning, I open my car, untie the string and simply pull the cover right off. It is super light weight and removes in an instant. I stow it in my car so that I can put it back on that evening.

Adding this magnet thing to one of these Shields is a game changer..Just pay the Extra few dollars for one like this & you'll rarely have to use your ice scrapper on your windshield!

I got this for my husband and my daughter's cars for Christmas. It does work, however, it's somewhat challenging to maneuver by yourself. Each of the flaps go inside the door so it's challenging to get one side to stay inside the door and shut it, particularly on windy days, and then do the other side by yourself. My husband and I put this on together and it was a somewhat windy day and were challenged to get the flap to stay in the car and shut the door without injury to our hands while closing the door.
It does work though and would recommend it. Perhaps someone else has a tip on how to secure this without all the issues of possible injury.

Being a first responder it is essential that I be able to get in my vehicle and take off in the middle of the night no matter the weather. When seconds count scraping a windshield is not the best thing to be doing. I wanted to give this ample time before I reviewed it after having it I have to say I could not be happier with it. It works great it does what it's supposed to do it's light and flexible so it doesn't get in the way. For those that are complaining that they cannot get it to cinch up tight once they close the doors I can recommend using your sun visors folded forward to hold it in place while you shut your door it works great for me and I highly recommend this product

It is Not deep winter quality because the material is to thin. More for warmers winter areas Not high Mountain areas. The magnets are questionable if they damage the paint. The size is OK. The thin straps are poor. Weak.
