The extension cable works great coupling the backup camera installed on the back of my White Water Retro 177 to the transmitter mounted on the front hitch frame near the battery box. The extension cable requires a female-female RCA adapter to join the male RCA to the male RCA on the transmitter. The cable was easy to route under the RV frame through the holes in the cross members.

I bought this cable to use in a project of retrofitting a backup camera into my car. The camera I bought came with its own cable like this but it was not long enough for what I needed. I purchased this cable so that I would have plenty of length to make it from the radio and the dash all the way through the body of the car into the trunk lid. The cable works perfectly well and the connectors are solid and well-made.

I use these for installing backup camera systems on race car trailers and duallys. They are compact; so compact that at first I was concerned about their ability to carry a vivid video signal. I took a chance, though, and was very pleased with the result. In fact, their compact design makes it easy to hide the cable run. You must be careful and not pull on them, but exercising reasonable caution you will be fine.
