Great product. When put on in the morning before any swelling or pain starts this is very helpful. I wear an 8 1/2 and purchased the L/XL and the fit is very snug; depending on how shoes are made sometimes I need a wide shoe which might explain why this is so snug. I also tried putting on after my PF had flared up and my foot was swollen and extremely painful. I found the sock helpful in relieving some of the pain when walking.
After wearing the Physix gear socks for three weeks my feet haven't felt this good after a day at work since I can't remember ..

As soon as I put them on I felt pain relief. I wore them 3 days and the heel pain was totally gone. I also have flat feet (no arch across the toes) and my feet have been a problem since I was a teenager working at a gas station. I have always worn orthodics - some custom fitted and some off the shelf units and although they would help some my feet would still hurt after standing or walking all day. After wearing the Physix gear socks for three weeks my feet haven't felt this good after a day at work since I can't remember when. So even though they are designed to help plantar fasciitis I am going to wear them at all times since along with the orthodic inserts this combo has helped my flat footed /sore foot problem better than anything I have used so far. In a way I'm kind of glad I got the plantar fasciitis otherwise I would never have found these socks that really help my other chronic problem.

I highly recommend this compression sock. This has been my first bought with Plantar Fasciitis, and let me tell you, it has been the most painful thing I have ever experienced. It all began with me injuring my calf muscle, which caused me to walk funny. Then right as my calf began to heal, I awoke to Plantar Fasciitis in the foot of the same leg. I want to tell you, this sock has been essential in my recovery process. As I began to return to placing weight on my foot, I had to have something to help me. Compression and arch support are key. If you are very active, if you are on your feet all day for your job, or if you are recovering from plantar fasciitis, this sock is what you need. Trust me when I tell you, you do not understand how much your feet mean to you until you wake up one morning in severe pain, unable to put weight on your foot. Take care of your feet. Get a pair of these. Have them as a part of your daily workout, hike, or even just for a long plane/car ride.
