Awesome firewood tote!

We burn a lot of fire wood and I have been using a Blue Ikea shopping tote to carry wood from the pile into the house. The handles are ready to rip out, so when I saw this tote I ordered it. It arrived very quickly and it is really heavy duty. The shape is great to hold the wood and it has a very wide "mouth" making it easy to put logs in, even in the dark. I expect to get years of use from this tote.
Well made but just not as practical as a solid basket. Excellent product support.

This is a well made product. . and shipping, correspondence and follow-up were excellent.
I just find that it's difficult to carry once filled with wood. Most firewood is odd shaped and as a result they don't stack perfectly in the carrier resulting in the handles spreading a part and not being able to be grasped with one hand. A typical solid basket with a single handle I just find easier to handle especially when you're maneuvering through door ways.
UPDATE: From 3 to 5 stars.
After writing my initial review the manufacturer contacted me and we discussed how I was using the item and how it could be improved. Since I find it important for a manufacture to stand behind their product and that they value the opinion of the end user, I am bumping my rating.
The manufacturer is considering some improvements to the item.

It is a nice canvas. Bigger than expected. Hold lots of wood. material is sturdy, and the color is very mach christmas tree. I have been using everyday for a week. I like how I can fold it up for easier storage in summer too.

I purchased two carriers, this one and the Panacea. The inside lining of the Panacea was a plastic coating that I'm certain won't last. This has a better fabric lining material. Both are a synthetic woven canvas-like fabric, unlike the old heavy cotton based canvas materials. Time will tell on how the newer fabric holds up. My old canvas carriers had solid (probably wooden) support for the top edges where the handles are. This one had something that felt like cardboard, the Panacea had nothing. This is definitely the better product of the two, but you pay for the difference.

This tote is very heavy duty. It has a rubberized lining which keeps the dirt in much better than the cheap tote's, it also keeps more dirt and debris in the tote and off your floor. An ideal wood tote for me, highly recommended!
