I actually bought this as a modern looking hand towel bar and love it! The towel slides on easily and if folded properly (thirds) it's the perfect size, which is exactly what I needed and wanted....Other options were normal towel bars which are way to long or the rings which I just don't care for so this was a great substitute! Modern yet classic, sleek and efficient use of space.

Installation was ridiculously easy! Just attach the bracket and slide it into place!

I love this toilet paper holder. Its simple but very unique. It might take some a little time to figure out how to install it and I get that but for me it was very simple but I am good with things around the house and I've seen similar designed products before with the brackets and allen screws.

Here's how I installed it. I got a level and held it flush to the wall. I then laid one of the brackets on the level and marked the holes. I took the level down and then put the bracket facing outwards and screwed in by lining up to my marks. I then measure the distance to the second bracket and repeated. Make sure your brackets both line up and are level with each other. Use a level to do this. It's much, much easier. Then after both brackets are mounted, unscrew both of the little allen screws attached to the bracket enough so you can slide the holder onto the brackets.

We got this to match the other oil rubbed bronze accessories in our guest bath (towel ring and mirror). We had purchased a different toilet paper ring (Tuscany Zephyr TP Holder) at Menards for our master bath and I really wish they'd had 2 in stock. The Zephyr is similar to this one on Amazon: Designers Impressions Aurora Series Oil Rubbed Bronze Toilet / Tissue Paper Holder . The difference is distance from the wall. This ring isn't quite big enough to load a double or big roll onto the holder without squishing it a little. Once it's loaded, you can unsquish it. But the bar is a little too big, so the roll moves around too much for my liking. The Zephyr holds the roll in place. We've installed this one, and it will stay. It's the right color and I like these kind of rings where you don't have any springs, just slide to load a new roll. But I gave it 4 stars because it's not my favorite (the squish factor and a little too much allowed movement of the roll).

My only wish is that the screw holes had caps so that you could install this holder facing either direction. As is, if you install the holder with the opening to the left, the holes for connecting the holder to the wall plate are visible from above.

Looks just like the picture and installed very easily, since I was replacing an old fixture and already had anchors in the wall and the wall plate is pretty adaptable. I will say that if you are a person who needs instructions, this might not be for you. The instruction booklet I got said "bathroom pendant" on the front and contained instructions for installing a kitchen spice rack. But installation was easy and only took me about 1 minute.
