These sardines are delicious. They have a Louisiana hot sauce to swim in. I use these all the time when I'm looking for a healthy, very tasty, low calorie snack. Put them on a roll and you can't beat that for a great taste.

I usually buy the lightly smoked Wild Planet sardines in olive oil and love them. These Beach Cliff sardines were on sale so I decided to give it a try. While they are not as mushy as the Chicken of the Sea brand (packed in water), they are still much mushier than Wild Planet. After comparing these 3 brands, I've decided that packing them in water makes sardines mushy and will only buy sardines packed in oil moving forward. Both Beach Cliff and Chicken of the Sea also have less flavor than Wild Planet (probably because the latter are smoked and also not sitting in water that dilutes flavor). I also prefer that Wald Planet only has 3 large pieces as apposed to the dozen or so small pieces in Beach Cliff and Chicken of the Sea.
