Really waterproof

Really Strong waterproof bag. It's been jet ski-ing boating, ffully submerged in water. Contents stay dry.
I have a slight hole after a full summer of weekend hardcore use. But that make sense how I have it rigged to my ski (no storage bin)
Plastic clips looks like they warped and weakened after 3 months of hard use/tugging (Like I said tied around my ski outside of a storage bin so it banged around alot) . So I got scared of a clip breaking and I just boguth some cheap metal binding clips to have a fail safe. Otherwise awesome.

I was just looking for something to keep my stuff dry while out on the paddleboard drifting around for a few hours at a time so I ordered the 20L thinking no one could POSSIBLY need this much stuff with them while recreating on the water for a few hours but apparently people do need all their stuff with them because they made a 20L dry bag and it's enormous. It's good to know if I ever need a bag to fit my inflatable SUP in, I have a backup. I went back and ordered the smaller size. I think this larger bag is better for families who just want one bag to share amongst themselves. The good news is, it kept my stuff dry including my iPhone in the front pouch. Just be aware that the top does not zip up and buckling it at the top still could let water in. Fine if your boat doesn't capsize or it doesn't rain.
Not Waterproof

I recently purchased this bag for a diving trip to Sri Lanka. I used it in the zodiac as went to the beach one day. We had to swim in the water for about 5 minutes to get back on the boat, and I used the bag to keep my towel, phone, and land camera dry - folding the top over 3 times. When I opened the bag, everything was wet. Both my camera and my phone were damaged beyond repair due to the salt water.
Don't waste your money on this bag.

Great bag. Kept everything nice IN the bag.
The problem: zipper compartment did not keep anything dry. Money and credit cards were soaked. Do NOT put a phone in that pouch!
So keep everything important inside of the bag and everything will be nice and dry.

I purchased this bag for kayak trips, and it has worked great! It is large enough to hold a beach towel, our cell phones, and car keys, with room to spare. I tested the bag at home with random objects inside, and it remained water-tight. On the river, I feel confident that my cell phone is safe from water damage, and will definitely pack this bag for any water-centered activities!
