What an amazing product. It's SUPER easy to use. I installed 8 packs of 5 in a single afternoon. Unreal!

To give you an idea of just how unreal "” I'm a 45 year old woman with zero landscaping experience. ZERO. I've never before even considered attempting a project like this. But I installed all this edging MYSELF, and in a long, scalloped line. Not exactly a novice design. So, if I can do it, absolutely anyone can.

I could not be happier with the results! It looks great. Very clean and polished, which is exactly what I was hoping for. I can't believe it looks so good. Mission accomplished!

This is not a budget product but it's well worth the money. I'll be getting more for the side yards, it was that easy to install. So glad to find this on Amazon!

I have several spots that I can not get my mower into, these require that I use a grass trimmer. I have used the black vinyl type on parts of my yard and it just looks ugly. It's hard to install, keep straight, and needs support to stand up straight. I could go on but I think you get the idea.

The EverEdge that I purchased was just the opposite. It looks great, is very sturdy, has a far superior method when you need to attach another one, and is far easier to install. It comes with attached support stakes so it stands up vertically.
These support stakes are the only drawback. If you put the product into the ground first and go to attach another one the connection method works against you. It takes time to align the two sections. I found it was easier to lay the sections on the ground, join them together, then lift them upright. Put the attached stakes in the ground only deep enough to keep the sections from falling. After the sections are upright then begin to pound the sections into the ground little bit at a time. Keep doing this until all sections are at the height you desire. The stakes only need to be a little bit into the ground to keep the edging up right. Please watch the stakes as they are VERY sharp.

Hope you enjoy this product as much as I did and remember you get what you pay for.

Rock Star update/upgrade

Having bought 5 or 6 more sets, I'm finding the tabs to be easier to connect... maybe you improved them, or maybe I improved my install skills!... very likely it is the latter.

Either way, this is an amazing product and worth every penny. You won't believe how it keeps grass and weeds OUT -- my grasses are Bahai and St. Augustine, and it NEVER gets past the edging. I'd also like to give the company HUGE credit for very little, if any, "Supply Chain" price increases -- thank you!!

It is also height-versatile -- in some areas I've pounded it in lower so I can run the lawn mower with one wheel OVER it and not have to edge or weed whack at all -- yay, and in other areas I've installed it higher to keep junk on the OUTSIDE from getting on the INSIDE -- like keeping leaves out of a garden bed.

I believe my first sets are at least 3 years old, maybe 4 and they are absolutely like brand new. I feel VERY confident these will last a very, VERY long time.

Advice... Be SURE to have or buy a rubber mallet, it's absolutely mandatory, and with this next one, I'm not giving advice, just a share -- take it or leave it and don't sue me... I have REALLY POUNDED them in HARD next to my driveway to get through the base rocks and they don't show even a ding or a dent. They are EXTREMELY sturdy and TOUGH little heckers!

And an idea... With the high price per set (but worth it!) I'm swapping out my old edging 5 at a time every other month or so. It seems like forever to wait, but eventually it will all be done and fabulous.

This is one of the very best garden products I've ever used. Kudos!!

This product is just awesome. It looks so precise and perfect and beautiful. The price leaves A LOT to be desired though. If you have the money, splurge, totally worth it, nothing else I've found comes even close. They don't get five stars though on a quality issue. There is connection point that rarely lines up correctly, and at this massive price IT SHOULD and the company should address it. I've installed quite a bit and the "tab" that is supposed to be pushed through to hold the connection has only lined up ONCE. That's unacceptable at this price. Other than that, it's a REALLY beautiful product.

I only needed to line part of the sidewalk to keep the mulch from overtaking it. It looked bad and we thought having wet mulch on the very old concrete might be causing it to crumble and crack faster.

We didn't have to do any big angles or difficult obstacles like some of you, just a long slight curve. Yet still I expected a much longer install and a lot more effort. The measurements let us buy exactly what we needed. Our only tools were a spade and softened ground (day after a big rain - - highly recommended) and we were finished with our two boxes of edging in about a half hour. It was basically a one-person job here. The brown looks good against the soil/mulch and I won't have to kick mulch back in place every few days with my boot. Good.

This is a really neat edging system. The instructions are clear and the product is sturdy. In our our particular yard, however, we ran into two problems. First, you have to account for the depth of the spikes, not just the depth of the edging. Below our topsoil about 8 -12 inches is a layer we have come to refer to as "hardpan." It is compacted dirt that is rock hard after being compressed for thousands of years following the Missoula Floods. We have to break through with an iron bar. The spikes were so long we couldn't use the edging, because the spikes wouldn't penetrate the hardpan any better than a shovel or pick axe does. Which means, not at all.
Second, we needed to put in some curves and these turned out to be impossible to bend with the precision we wanted. They are extremely sturdy, which is good, but you are are not going to have lots of curvy S-shaped areas in your yard using this product. We have re-packaged them and are saving them for our next house, which is being built on fill dirt right now. They will work great in our new yard.
