A great must have for use w/gearhead for macro extreme photos

This is a must have for a Manfrotto geared head to make those ultra fine adjustments in extreme macro photos. Don't expect to use this for coarse leveling...not enough travel for that; use the gearhead, for coarse leveling, in conjunction with this for micro adjustments, and you will have a fantastic configuration!

This seems built well and sturdy. However, in has a very small amount of tilt range and takes some time to adjust. If all you need is fine tuning over a small amount of tilt and have time to fiddle with the wheel adjusters, this is a great tool.

For the price this is an excellent level for my tripod. It is well machined and works smoothly. It's reasonably quick to use, though not quite as much so as cup in socket levelers. It is thick and will be noticeable in a tripod. That's neither good nor bad. Just an observation.
