The cord is the coiled sreatchable kind. A little to short. The plastic for the power end is cheap. The cord isnt secured very well to the power end, not sure if it will pull out from the cord stretching. What do you expect for something cheap made in China though. It will serve its purpose while guarding a truck lot. Did NOT come with the screws to attach it. Did have a good magnet on the bottom. Pretty bright.
