Worked like a dream! I have a very chill dog and I got 4 year old scales off his tooth!
...now I'm thinking I got scammed by my old vet if he charged for anaesthesia (SOP for vets when doing oral care) and STILL didn't get the tartar off when I did it WITHOUT.
Disclaimer: my dog is chill with me. Amd I have a medical background. If your dog isn't able to stay ABSOLUTELY STILL on command and/or you aren't familiar with using precision instruments and anatomy, please leave to (reputable) professionals.

This is a great kit---the tools are strong and sharp however I bought to use on my dog and it is just too challenging to get a dog to hold steady while you scrape their teeth. Just didn't want them to have to go under anesthetic which is how my sister's dog was killed when the vet tech forgot to turn on the oxygen.

This kit works great. I regret not having taken pictures of my dogs teeth before and after. I would not use it on another dog but mine are pretty laid back and quiet when it comes to teeth cleaning so I did not have any problem keeping them still. The vet wanted to bill me $700 for teeth cleaning. with this kit and some mouth wash, I saved a great deal of money. the plaque came off in chunks ( pretty gross) but at least my two labs are good to go ...

These are fantastic. I have been using them everyday for months. I have small minor issues with build up after almost every meal. I will be using these daily as long as I live. The dentist was so impressed with my dental health at my last appointment that they couldn't believe what happened. I have sensitive teeth and peritonitis can result quickly from my build up. The dentist formerly would take over an hour to clean my teeth. Now I am in and out of the chair in 15-20 minutes. Fantastic, fantastic product. I should also mention that I use these in conjunction with a water pik and an electric toothbrush. They make up my dental health trifecta.
