Average performance appliance, but worth the money and the convenience

We get these Peanuts appliances as whimsical Christmas gifts every year... and even though it's more of a novelty gift, they get surprisingly good use out of them. This pretzel machine is no exception. The end product does not even remotely resemble a pretzel but it does make doughy, quick, tasty pretzel shaped snacks. Really nice, kind of tough to clean (lots of nooks and crannies). Like this and the Peanuts sandwich maker, worth the price.
Does not make "pretzels"

This thing is awful. The first batch of "pretzels" was so bad we thought we must have made a mistake so we made another batch. I don't know what to call what we were making but it certainly was not a pretzel. It's more like funny shaped toast. We thought about regifting this year but but decided we didn't dislike any enough to give it to them.
