How can you mess up a $10 guitar stand?
Dennis D.✓ Verified PurchaseDecember 18, 2017
How can you mess up a cheap guitar stand? Well for starters you throw it in a box with no packing or protection what so ever. Throw a ripped up catalog for 2017 gear (when it's 11 days from 2018), add in a torn instruction sheet (not that you need either it but it's the principal) and toss it in the mail. Oh and don't forget the best way to mess it up, leave a plastic edge so sharp on one of the knobs it cuts the finger of the poor person who assembles it. And just to top it off, make sure it's crooked as all get out.

Seriously I know it was only 10 bucks, get what ya pay for and all that, but come on ChromaCast, take some pride in your product.
It came facing the wrong direction, even after correct setup!

My guitar stand came facing the wrong direction. I put it together correctly and it faces in between the short leg and long leg. It will tip if my guitar is sitting in it this way. It's supposed to face in between both long legs. Disappointed! I understand this doesn't happen to everyone but it should not have to happen to anyone.

Bottom cradle is too high and too narrow. It makes the stand extremely unstable. Not recommended especially if you have pets or children or a large fan. EDIT: I initially said the build quality was fine. That was true of the first stand. I just put the second one together. The plastic knows for one of the thumbscrews came loose. The metal is warped and bent in weird ways and the stand doesn't line up properly. It's just as unstable as the first one. These things are just awful.
Definitely worth it for the price. Great quality cheap price

Does the job it needs to. Easy to put together and holds the guitar safely. To take he guitar out however, you have to remove the rubber piece in front of the neck which has proven to be far too tedious for what it is. Also the bottom stand piece that holds the guitar is a little crooked in such a fashion hat I cannot adjust it to where I want it to be but it still looks fine and you can only notice it if you have extreme OCD.
Great Stand, great price!

This was a great deal for this guitar stand. Upon arrival this afternoon, I put it together in about 5 minutes, and my guitar looks great sitting on it! I would definitely purchase from this seller again. I don't have to worry about my guitar falling over, leaning it up against the wall. the last guitar stand I had, which I passed on to my granddaughter, did not have the cushioning around the neck and bottom. I really like that extra feature.
