My husband used this twice and the second time he went to go use it because he ended up needing another part to go with it he had to wait. He went to use it the second time and he mini side completely fell apart. So we ended up having to order a new one because of course the old one we purchased a while ago and it sat and waited while we got the other needed part. Go figure

I use the gofanco Converter to show Power Point slides to my university classes. The converter translates signals from my laptop that has a micro HDMI port to a VGA port on classroom's display system. The converter has worked flawlessly from the beginning and it is a bargain for the price.

It works but don't use this for Any kind of app movie playback as in Netflix Hulu or hbo go. It will give you an error hdcp for some dumb reason and won't let you watch bought content. So stupid. And yes I have the power plugged in and unplugged, I tried both ways. Even did a hard rest and everything. I tried it on my Xbox one and Apple TV.
Works great with old VGA monitors. Because of this adapter, we saved a couple of old VGA monitors. Thank you for gofanco!

Simply a great mini HDMI to VGA adapter. Supports 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x768, 1280x800, 1280x960, 1280x1024, 1440x900, 1600x1200, 1680x1050 @60Hz, 1920x1080 @60Hz, 1920x1200 @60Hz. I was looking for an adapter to support 1440x900. This adapter works perfectly with old VGA monitors (1440x900) in our office and conference room!
